Rugged 'n' roll
The new, optional Rugged design variant really whets the appetite for adventure. The tyres with an off-road-look emphasise the robust character of the X and guarantee an impressive appearance. Unmissable highlights are the seat in red/black and the red wheel rims. The gold-coloured brake calipers at the front and the dark-tinted windscreen create exciting contrasts.

Your scooter, your smartphone, your city and you – perfectly interlinked thanks to Connectivity. Easily connect your smartphone and use numerous functions such as telephony, music playback or navigation with the BMW Motorrad Connected app on the 6.5" TFT display. You can charge your smartphone in the front storage compartment so that you always stay connected.

The scooter with the X stands for riding fun in the city and beyond the city limits. The model update goes one better, particularly in terms of design. The new front design with elegant black trim points the way towards adventure. The front fender in body colour forms a harmonious overall impression with the trim panel components. Your storage space is also multiplied by X. The ride comfort, equipment and connectivity make every excursion a pleasure. The X shows its robust GS genes on cobblestones or gravel paths. Spontaneous riding manoeuvres. Agile at junctions. Casual gliding. The single-cylinder combustion engine of the C 400 X takes you dynamically through the city and beyond. It reacts confidently at all times with the electromotive throttle controller – Ride by Wire. The scooter smoothly responds to riders turning the throttle lever, even at low speeds. The traffic lights change to green and off you go. Straight-forward riding pleasure and low consumption – the engine meets the new Euro 5+ standard.
